End of the Season Hours

We'd like to inform everyone that our Powder House Main Store and Gondola Store are open on April 20 - 22 and April 27 - 29 for Ski & Snowboard Rentals. If you are looking to rent skis during the middle of the week, please visit the Main Store. All other locations are closed for the ski season. Thank you!

Thankfully Mother Nature provided Tahoe with a couple feet of snow these last few days! Heavenly and Kirkwood are extending thier season!

 

This should give you an idea of how much snow we got this week in Tahoe. And it keeps snowing! Powder House is so thankful for all this Powder. Above is a photo taken at Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort today (3/18/2012); they have received over 4 feet of FRESH POWDER! Seem to us like Miracle March is definitely here! Enjoy that powder.

 

Ladies and Gentlemen! Powder House is proud to announce this amazing forecast for the Tahoe Ski Resorts this week. Looks like we will be getting dumped on. According to NOAA, Tahoe is expected to get a coupld feet of fresh snow through this weekend. We couldn't be more thrilled! Stop by a Powder House location to pick up some powder skis or a demo powder snowboard!

 

 

 

New for winter 2011-2012, the Homewood Bleu Wave Ski Shuttle Cruise offers guests one of the most scenic and unique ski and snowboard experiences in the world.

Offered at $99, guests receive a round-trip, trans-Tahoe cruise aboard the 72-foot, 49-passenger luxury cruise yacht, Tahoe Bleu Wave; and a full day of skiing and boarding at Homewood Mountain Resort. The morning departure cruise offers continental breakfast fare such as pastries juice, and coffee, while the afternoon return offers classic après-ski beverages and appetizers.

Passengers depart from South Lake Tahoe's historic Round Hill Pines Beach & Marina, enjoying the Tahoe Bleu Wave's luxuriously comfortable amenities such as a fully stocked bar and fireplace, private lounge, stateroom, fly-bridge, oversized party bow, restrooms, and full climate-controlled indoor facilities; as well as one of the Tahoe region's most quintessential scenic experiences – viewing the dramatic, snow-covered peaks from the water.
